Revive Cabinets with Paint
Label each piece of the cabinet
Make a sketch of the piece or room from which you're removing the cabinets, then label the pieces you're painting for quick reassembly.
Ensure the surfaces are clean
Use grease cutting soap to clean the surface of the cabinet. Once dry, dust the shelves and cabinets with a dust cloth.
Sand cabinets until smooth
Sand the cabinet lightly with 120-grit sandpaper before painting in order to give the paint a good surface to grip onto.
Use a fast drying primer
To complete the project in a timely manner, choose a fast drying primer. Make sure that it’s compatible with the paint being used.
Paint cabinets using desired color
Before you commit to a color, paint samples on one of the cabinet to see how they'll look, using two coats to get the full effect.
