We just painted the sunroom from sage green walls/ ceiling to this light beige walls and light blue ( tint of gray) ceilings. We Have to have blinds for the East morning sun. After the suns goes up over the roof the blinds come up . Once the blinds are raised you see about 6 to 8"..... this is the part I would like to,cover with something. I tried painters cloth but this textured beige color made our window wall look yellow. If my blinds were beige I would not do anything...too expensive to replace when u have 9 large windows.

This photo shows the blind in raised position total about 8" from top of window. This is the only part I would like to do something with...

You could adjust the strings of the blinds and then knot them so that when the blinds are raised, they will go up only as far as the top of the horizontal window ledge. Yes, it will block a bit of the direct sunlight coming through this gap, but it will make the windows look more unform as you will then have one direct line all the way across the whole width.

Thanks for input. I pretty much do this manually....just did not for the photo as I failed to lower the night before and when I was asked out to the patio I was in a rush to get my coffee going so I did a quick lazy blind down

If you're looking for a topper to cover just the top of blinds, there are several options to consider depending on your style preferences and functional needs:

    1. Valances : Valances are decorative fabric panels that are mounted above the blinds to conceal the top portion. They come in a variety of styles, including straight, scalloped, and swag, and can add a touch of elegance to your window treatment. Blinds in Dubai
    2. Cornices: Cornices are wooden or upholstered boxes that are mounted above the blinds to conceal the top portion. They provide a clean and streamlined look and can be customized with fabric upholstery to complement your decor.
    3. Pelmet Boxes: Pelmet boxes are similar to cornices but are typically more decorative and elaborate in design. They often feature intricate molding or carving details and can make a bold statement in your space.
    4. Sheer or Lightweight Fabric Toppers: If you prefer a softer look, consider adding a sheer or lightweight fabric topper above your blinds. This can be in the form of a simple fabric panel or a gathered swag draped across the top of the window. https://blindsindubai.ae/ https://blindsindubai.ae/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Blinds in dubai
    5. Decorative Rods and Finials: Another option is to install decorative rods and finials above the blinds and hang lightweight fabric panels or curtains from them. This adds a decorative touch while still allowing you to adjust the blinds as needed for light control and privacy.
    6. Architectural Details: For a more unique and customized look, consider adding architectural details such as molding, trim, or decorative brackets above the blinds. These can create visual interest and tie in with the overall design aesthetic of your space.

When choosing a topper for your blinds, be sure to consider the size and style of your windows, as well as the existing decor in the room. With the right topper, you can enhance the appearance of your blinds while adding personality and style to your space. Blinds in Dubai

A valance or cornice would cover this beautifully. You could choose fabric or paint to complement your decor.
