Bench Grinder Stand

A Bench Grinder is a handy tool to have in the workshop, but probably not something you will use every day, so you don't want it cluttering up the bench, or taking up a lot of room in the workshop.
I thought about just putting a shelf on the wall and having a static position for the Grinder, but there are times, when I want to use it on something bigger, and being against the wall will not do.
You only need five pieces of 1/2" plywood for this project, two sides, the back, the top, which is the stand for the grinder, and a brace, which I use as a shelf for my eye protection.

I had this made in less than an hour, bolted the Grinder to the top, and it sits in a corner out of the way, if I need it, I lift it out, use it, and put it away again. Make the stand to a height that is comfortable for you, half a sheet of plywood should be enough for this project, it is just glued and brad nailed together.
