Upcycled Egg Carton Flowers

Easy

Easter is just around the corner and egg dyeing fun is upon us! No doubt, trash cans across the country will be littered with empty egg cartons! I felt like I should do my part and save a few. Those little egg cradles can become beautiful flowers with just a few easy steps!

After cutting away (and saving) the tall points of the carton, cut out each cradle.

Fold the egg cradle in half...

Cut a heart shape for rounded petals.

Use straight lines for pointed petals.

Hard to believe those flowers came from that carton, right? Just a little hot glue, paint, and glitter paper transformed them! Now you can certainly use them to craft at this point or your could take your flowers to the next level with a little molding and shaping...

It really does bring the petals to life!

Head over to the blog for examples of how you can use these adorable flowers to decorate for spring!
