Scary Holographic Chalkboard Sign

I have older kids and they love scary things, so I made this fun chalkboard sign for Halloween. Check out how easy this is to make and it only cost me $3!

What you’ll need:

Mini chalkboard

Paint - black and sliver

Paint brush

Holographic images (I got these on Mercari)

My pictures are the same size as the chalkboard I got from the Dollar Tree so they were perfect! I used both sides of my chalkboard so it would be double sided.

I began by painting all the wooden parts of the chalkboard with black chalk paint.

Once I painted it all black, I lightly put silver all over it. I used a little more on the ends and corners.

Then, I took my picture and slid it in. It fit perfectly. I didn’t even have to glue it!

I didn't want to put any glue in case it messed up the image.

Here it is.

And this is the back of the sign. I can use chalk to write on it and make it a sign.

I love it! One way you look at the picture it's a regular photo of a man, but the other way you see a scary man!

This is a super easy DIY that's perfect to add to your Halloween decor.

It would be a fun project for tweeners or teens who are too old for trick-or-treating, but who are still young enough to enjoy celebrating Halloween.🔮
