IOGO nano yogurt container

1. Remove the label and lid

Save all your IOGO nano yogurt containers (or other brand with similar style containers). Wash well.

Removing the labels

Remove lid and label.

Cutting the black felt

2. Cut black felt

Cut circles or ovals from black felt. I think they would have looked better a bit smaller than what I did. Cut a third shape for the mouth.

NOTE: Before using felt I did try acrylic paint pens, but they did not adhere. I also tried a Sharpie, but because of the grooves in the container it didn't look good, so I went with the black felt!

Felt shapes for the eyes

To get the same shape twice I cut one, then trace the second. You could also just cut both at the same time.

Hot-gluing the felt

3. Attach the eyes and mouth

Using hot glue, glue the eyes to the yogurt container.

Gluing the eyes and mouth to the bottle

Next you're going to glue the mouth.

Repeat the above steps for each yogurt container. I made 11. I love the look of many of them!

Attaching the candles to the yogurt bottles

4. Attach the candles

Using the flame from one candle, melt the bottom of another candle and gently place it inside the yogurt container.

Most of them didn't stay up very well so I added a couple handfuls of rice inside some and this held the candles up better. You could also use straight candles, instead of tapered ones, I just used what I could find locally.

Very cute but they look top heavy. May I suggest using double sided tape or hot glue to adhere them to a base. Perhaps a cookie sheet? You could fill the cookie sheet with black aquarium gravel. Would look like they are rising from graveyard.

Have a happy and safe All Hallows Eve.
