find an old tea towel, find you clothes iron. Tea towel on the white spot, iron with med. heat. Keep the iron moving your trying to remove the moisture out of the floor wax / other treatment.
Hello. Typically a laminate floor is not cleaned using water — Windex or white vinegar works best. However, be careful to dilute that vinegar or wipe it dry right away. Water tends to leave that white stain. Eliminate that white stain by taking a couple of teabags and pour boiling water over them, barely covering them. When the liquid is coiled, apply on the stain just using your fingers. Levon about a half an hour and then try using a tissue. You may have to leave it on a little longer. But this worked really well. Good luck!
Take a cotton dish towel and place over the stain then take your iron and iron over thi area it may do the job
how long has it been there? they usually. Disappear on their own
Do you have the info on the manufacturer of your flooring? I would call them first before you do anything. They may have a recommendation that we do not know of. I do not think that any laminate flooring will tell you to use a steam cleaner on them. My instructions that came with my flooring says to slightly damp mop or use sprays made for laminate flooring only. Moisture will ruin the flooring. I have had mine for well over 10 years and it still looks like new.
So sorry this happened! With our Yorkie/Chi's, we just couldn't have laminate floors. We had beautiful, sheet vinyl installed. It has a 40 yr. guarantee and comes in almost every wood and wood stain color you can imagine. It can be mopped with anything, including a floor steam cleaner. You can find it at the big box stores and local flooring companies can order it.
I don't think you are supposed to use a steamer on laminate flooring of any kind, I don't know if there is a fix for this or not. I would start by calling the manufacturing company and see if they can help you. I'm afraid it is going to buckle and the layers will seperate. i hope they can help you.
have you found a solution?
Maybe Dry Iron it out on top of brown paper to draw out the damp! OTHER THAN THAT - COVER IT WITH TALC POWDER TO TRY AN DRAW IT OUT THAT WAY! Good luck
To take the stain out: Toothpaste lightly rubbed on the stain is often suggested. Another one is vinegar mixed with a bit of olive oil. If the stain does not come out - Using Tea to Mask White Stains on Laminate Flooring.
