by Poppies Paint Powder
Here is a quick tutorial on waxing your chalk painted furniture by Poppie himself. Poppie talks about the difference in using wax versus polyacrylic in this video. Poppie is the mad scientist behind Poppies Famous Repurposing Paint Powder. At Poppie's Famous Products we believe in helping "Real People Painting Real Furniture". Repurposing is for everyone. We work hard to offer everyone that wants to repupose a product that is eco friendly, affordable and easy peasy to use.
People ask us constantly if they have to wax their pieces when they are done. It doesn't matte if you use wax or poly, it is necessary to seal your chalk painted pieces for protection. The minerals in chalk paints change the bonding and adhesion of the paint so that you can easily sand it off.
We would love to find out how we can serve you. Please submit any questions you may have about the chalk painting process and Poppie will be sure to answer them for you personally

I recently chalk painted my sofa. It looks great but I notice the paint has lightened in the areas that come in contact with my legs the most. Are you supposed to apply wax to fabric pieces?
