DIY Fabric Covered Balls

Do you ever see a DIY or craft project either in a magazine or somewhere online, and you immediately know you want to try it? That is what happened to me when I saw these adorable rag balls on a favorite blog of mine. Shannon give a tutorial for how to make these fabric covered balls that is very easy peasy to understand. So I decided to try it for myself.
This project was very easy to complete, although it was a little tedious and took a while. I just knocked it out on a Sunday while catching up on what I had missed on my DVR.
Above you can see the supplies I used for the project. You can read more about where I purchased the fabric on my blog. Obviously I also used styrofoam balls, which are not pictured.
I just love the way they turned out! They were perfect for my oblong planter (which I never use for plants).
Here you can see that I am currently using them as a centerpiece on my table for Spring. But I have a feeling they will be popping up all over the place before I am finished with them! See more details, including links to the blog where I originally saw the tutorial for these balls, on my blog!
Enjoyed the project?
