Going to take down the wallpaper, any ideas on what I can do to perk-up this bathroom? I have earth tones throughout my home.

Perhaps some earth tones and a faux window. Another idea would be to get have a custom wallpaper made, perhaps a nature scene to cover the entire wall.

I'd keep it simple and spalike. I like the shiny chrome hardware, so I'd work with that. I'd start by taking down the builder-grade mirrors. I'd paint the walls a soft neutral color like Benjamin Moore's Manchester Tan, Natural Linen, or Stone Hearth. I'd hang a mirror like this over each basin: http://www.uttermost.com/p-3509-sherise-rectangle.aspx?EID=16&EN=Category I'd replace the art over the toilet with whatever you like, in a simple white frame that doesn't take attention away from the art. If you choose something bright and colorful, I'd put up towels that have the same colors. If you choose something light or neutral, I'd use fluffy white hotel style towels. What does the flooring look like?

Beadboard halfway up with trim. I like the wallpaper. White beadboard would look great.

add some distressed wood floating shelves with lux bath products and a few candles/towels. i would also remove the mirrors, adding 2 framed mirrors and change out the lighting. paint any color.

So may endless options: bead board with chair rail painted white and diff wall color (I love soft silver gray), frame out large mirror by cutting pieces and glue to mirror (paint front and back bf putting up bc you will see a little of back in mirror at edge)(I can recommend some YouTube on that or can teach u if u like my ideas), can you add a few more photos of other walls so I can see and my advice is cohesive. Looks like maybe a mirror over vanity and one on right wall?? If doing would take down side mirror and if u love mirrors do a small super decorative hanging mirror with small amount of mirror. Like from Tues morning or Marshals. Or floating shelves on that wall as recommended. Can use stainless contact paper to wrap shelf or go any route like white to contrast with wall color of your choice and match bead board chair rail and mirro frame. I have written too much. I may be way off of what you want but if I'm on track. I'll help u design it by email or phone. Bathroom design is my favorite

Love the faux window Idea. Also Like the shelving cept I am not a fan of the wood grain I prefer white shelving. Guess it depends on ur storage needs, but remember with shelves you be dusting..lol...I wouldn't be putting up any more wallpaper. If you wanted wall paper what you have looks nice.

If you have earth tones through out the home, maybe now is a chance to do something different! Just an idea. I do each room different because of the variety is nice.

See nothing wrong with your current bathroom. Like the wallpaper and tasteful accessories. If you are looking for change, you can frame the mirror without removing it using silicone. Love stripes to enhance the vertical or horizontal You could wainscot and do stripes with some taupe in it on the bottom. Am not a fan of open shelving in a bathroom or kitchen as can look cluttered, collect dust, and close in a smaller space. .

I smiled when I saw this picture because it could have been mine a few years ago - strip wall paper, heavy framed picture, fake greenery and wall to wall mirror. That was mine! I have a traditional house also but I painted it blue grey (Benjamin Moore HC-146 wedgewood gray), painted 4 wood frames with white paint and put my kids art in them, hung 2 mirrors with a dark espresso frame. My total cost was around $150 and my husband loved it. It felt so light and refreshing while still be traditional. I think the trick in staying tradition is to still stick with "warm" paint colors. Great bones to this bathroom.

I had a similar wall paper and bath. Removed paper, painted walls taupe, painted cabinet black and replaced counter top with granite, replaced laminate floor with tile. I would definitely replace the mirror with 2 framed mirrors and update light fixture. I just painted mine brushed nickle.
