Project Painting Upholstered Furniture

We were fortunate to inherit a set of comfy chairs that I quickly covered in slip covers. Sadly this left the ottoman sticking out like a sore thumb in our living room. After much debate and one really sad DIY slip cover I decided to paint my furniture, just like Hildi Santo Tomas did on "Trading Spaces" a million years ago!
Painting Upholstered Furniture ... easier than you might think.
This is the before of our lovely floral project.
During- this is coat number one. It took a few but I am pretty sure it's because I was trying to cover a floral with a light blue.
Finally my after shot ... seriously it can't get any better than this. What a difference!

Hi Jaque and Matt Thanks for such a speedy response, is that what we British call eggshell water based, sorry for all the questions but I cannot believe the transformation of your stool, it looks incredible. I would have remade the covers and reupholstered it, so to have this share would make life so much easier, quicker and more cost effective. I can't wait to try this out thank you so much for sharing.
