Dresser to Entertainment Center

In one of the swap and shop groups I'm in (or maybe it was a local Pinterest group I'm in) a lady was looking for a TV stand and posted a picture of the color she was looking for. I told her I had a dresser I could redo for her. I'm glad she could see the vision because the dresser I had was in horrible shape. She was so pleased with the outcome! Her Mother-In-Law was also so pleased with the outcome she wanted one for herself!
This is the picture she posted to show the color she wanted. She needed four slots for all of her "toys".
This is the dresser I had sitting out in the garage. I thought she might run when I showed her but instead we agreed on a price and I got to work!
I make my own chalk paint and use a glazing process to get to this color. I have changed handles in the past but these were perfect for this piece so I just spray painted them and put them back on. I'm still loving those little baskets!
Hubby sanded the top and built shelves where we removed the drawers. Isn't that a gorgeous top now? Funny thing is he is a painter but I do all the painting.
And here is the finished piece in her home!
