Learn how to make your very own bulb wreath..it's easier than you think
Choose a color family
Years ago my mother bought a bulb wreath that was so gorgeous and stunning. When she hung it up on her front door for the Christmas holiday I remember thinking 'Wow, that is amazing, I need to learn how to make it.'

Well, I finally did. First, I traveled to my local Big Lots and researched a color family. Thankfully their decorations are displayed according to color sequences. I chose a color family that is not the traditional red and green Christmas colors. The colors are purple, blue, green, and pink with various glitter and shine.

I purchased 9 packages of ornaments at only $4 dollars. There are 4 packs of 24 ornaments that are bulbs, 2 packs of 5 starburst ornaments, and 3 packs of 6 glitter bulbs. And a 17.8 inch (45 cm) styrofoam wreath, which is ideal to hot glue the ornaments and attach.
Don't forget to detach the metal from the ornament and take a hot glue gun to the stem to attach to the styrofoam
And begin to arrange your ornaments and hot glue them to the styrofoam wreath. I didn't spend too much time on spacing or arranging them. It took me about 90 minutes to complete it and I kept overlapping the bulbs and eventually glued the bulbs on top of each other to hide the styrofoam from underneath.
The completed look. Thank you fellow Hometalkers for your nice comments when I posted this earlier on the 'ask question' forum. I value your opinions.

Several years ago I bought two ornament wreaths that came with stands. They were about $75.00 but in stores smaller wreaths without a stand were $85.00 and up. Shortly after my cousin sent a huge wreath to her mom. Huge not in wreath size, it was 16" but she put a lot of ornaments in various sizes and stacked them up. She bought the ornaments at Big Lots and they cost about $45.00. It took her several hours but the wreath was gorgeous and worth so much more!!
