White Kitchen On a $5K Budget

After gutting our entire first floor, we ran out of money when it came to the kitchen. This forced us to get creative. Using unfinished cabinets that we painted ourselves, clearance appliances, and open shelves as opposed to more cabinets, we made it happen for under $5,000!
This oven was on clearance because there's a scratch SOMEWHERE (still haven't found it!)...
We used marble laminate countertops (literally the cheapest you could buy...)...
We got creative for some storage...
and I shopped at thrift stores and IKEA for white and mint china! (Or asked for it as Christmas gifts!)
We even used an old cabinet from our first house to help bring the color in...
We chose these pendants from Lowe's for $50 each instead of the ones I envisioned that were $150 EACH!
And now, I love walking in here each morning!
You can make it happen! With a little creativity and hard work, we have our dream kitchen on a super tight budget!
