Painting an Old Dining Room Buffet

I found this old buffet at a flea market. I liked the storage it had to offer and the price, but I did not like the paint job! I felt like it was doomed to sit in that flea market until forever, so I brought it home and gave it a new life.
We worked on this thing for weeks! It rained most weekends so it took us a long time to strip the entire thing.
But finally the time came when we were able to paint the buffet! We used Sherwin Williams Dovetail gray and sprayed it on (in the back yard as you can see)
We bought new handles that were brushed nickle and used Rub n' Buff to turn them gold. They have held up beautifully.
The dining room has changed just a bit since this project was completed! And it all started with those red chairs and my buffet.
Enjoyed the project?

Have a question about this project?
Did you use a flat paint? Or what type of finish did you use?
