Unique flower vases that may outshine your flowers!

While I don't really regard myself as much of a seasonal decorator, that all changes in summer. When the backyard flowers are in bloom, they are always brought in to brighten up my indoor spaces.
But I display them with a twist. I don't own one standard flower vase. Not a one. What I do instead is grab a vintage piece of choice, place a jar of water inside, and I have an instant vintage display that chimes in with my personal style.

Displaying your flowers, vintage style, is so easy to do! Here's how:
1. Find an object you love, and place a jar of water inside. Think outside of the box... toolboxes, crates, rusty machinery, etc. Layer them if you can for even more interest.
2. Place fresh cut flowers in the jar and change out frequently. It's fun to have a new look at a moment's notice!
3. Add in other elements for additional interest if your base allows it.
4. To hide any jar rims, add some spanish moss. It looks really cool too!
