Rustic Barnwood and Beadboard Patriotic July 4th Flags

I was looking for items that we had on hand to make patriotic decor from and I started off with a piece of beadboard that I thought would work great to paint a flag on.
I actually found two pieces of beadboard in our scrap wood pile, so I decided to make two flags. I also found pieces of barnwood frames that we had made a few years ago, but never used. I cut the beadboard to fit inside of these frames.
I painted the beadboard pieces to resemble american flags.
I distressed the beadboard flags and hand rubbed an antique finish on them to make them look a little aged, before attaching them into the frames.
You can read more about how I made the star pattern on my blog. The url link is below all of the pictures.
Here they are hung on the front porch of our cabin.
