Repurposed Old Bed Headboard

I wanted to do SOMETHING with an old twin bed I had. I've seen some of these around the internet and this is my version of a bulletin board made from a twin bed headboard.
I bought some cork tiles at Staples and taped them onto parts of the headboard (the cork comes with double sided tape).
I use the bulletin board for blogging ideas.

Here is my blog bulletin board made from a twin bed. I clip magazines, etc.
I made a coffee filter flower to decorate one corner of the bed..
Grow banner for outdoor stuff. I glued tiny scrapbooking clothespins onto the bed so I can clip notes onto them.
I printed out the months of the year so I would know what month I'm looking for inspiration for.
Right now I'm working on September...
