Pallet Wood Farmhouse Dining Table
by

I up-cycled my hardwood table to a farmhouse style. It took approx 4 pallets to transform the top. My table had a routed edge so I turned the top upside down so I could have a complete flat top. I just laid all the boards on top and screwed down at random lengths and then applied the border timber. It took about 4 hours and that included the time to take pallets apart. I'm going to paint the bottom half white along with the chairs and then distress the finish. The top still needs a sand back and a wax to finish off...the picture is of the raw top only. I especially love all the nail marks in the timber. when I have completed I shall post the finished product for you as well.

I have materials for a wonderful table base, but I have been trying to decide what I wanted to do for the top. I think this may be it! Thanks for sharing!
