DIY Halloween Sign

I have been eyeing a sign on BHG.com for a couple of months now, and I just knew it would be the perfect addition to our Halloween display. When I saw this month's theme for the was frightful, I knew exactly what I would be making!
Not too bad! I'm really pleased with how it turned out. When I went to the Home Depot looking for the supplies I would need to make it, I came across this mailbox post, and I knew it would be perfect to make my sign.
With the help of some of my wood scraps, I was able to make it stand alone. Then everything got a couple of coats of Rustoleum black satin spray paint...
I also used scrap fence pieces to make the sign. Then I used a piece of paper as a template to make the curved top and bottom, and cut it with my jigsaw.
For the lettering, I used my silhouette machine and some old contact paper.
I used spray paint for the sign also.
I purchased eye hooks and "S" hooks to hang it.
It works perfectly with our spooky display...
Don't you think?
